Here’s the checklist for the Duke Histories Of Poor Boys set (ACC# N79).

This set is another series of 16-page booklets that highlights a rags-to-riches story. The booklets contain a history of the person highlighted, a checklist, and ads for the five brands these cards were found in. The back of each booklet shows a scene related to the person being shown.

The set was issued around 1888 and was found in five of the Duke cigarette brands of the day; Cameo, Cross-Cut, Duke’s Cigarettes, Preferred Stock and Turkish Cross-Cut.
